Yves Saint Laurent designs are to be rebranded as Saint Laurent Paris following a decision by the company's head of design,Hedi Slimane.
The designer will use the same font and nomenclature that the label's eponymous founder first used when he launched his ready-to-wear line in 1966, then called Saint Laurent Rive Gauche.The brand's logo will also remain the same.Slimane's debut pre spring/summer 2013 collection will be shown to a small group of buyers imminently, while his first catwalk show will be unveiled during Paris Fashion Week - which starts on September 25 and finishes October 3.
